MIAA: The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association is an 12-member conference of NCAA Division II institutions in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. The MIAA has been in existence for over 95 years. Current member institutions the University of Central Missouri, Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, Missouri Southern University, Missouri Western University, Lincoln University, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Northwest Missouri State University, Pittsburg State University, Southwest Baptist University, Truman State University, and Washburn University. LSC: The Lone Star Conference is a 16-member conference of NCAA Division II institutions in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.The LSC was founded in 1931 and has grown from 5 original members to the present number of 16. Current member institutions are Abilene Christian University, Angelo State University, Cameron University, University of Central Oklahoma, East Central University, Eastern New Mexico University, Incarnate Word University, Midwestern State University, Northeastern State University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M Commerce University, Texas A&M University Kingsville, Texas Women's University, and West Texas A&M University.
